Environmental Impact and Waste
We monitor and control our environmental impacts through our ISO14001-accredited environmental management system. However, ISO14001 is just the starting point. We work with clients to reduce the carbon footprint of every project we deliver.
We have a dedicated Environmental Best Practice Committee, we commission environmental consultants to enhance our work, and we have appointed a ‘Green Champion’ who is responsible for promoting best practice company-wide. From the start of every project, we assess risk, define accountability, establish method statements and develop Site Waste Management Plans. Policies, documents and site-specific briefings are included in mandatory site inductions.

Local Procurement
Wherever possible, we aim to use local suppliers, subcontractors and storage. This not only benefits the local economy; it also helps to minimise transport-related carbon emissions. We have a fast-track approvals process for the engagement of new local suppliers.
